Information, telecommunication and high technology exhibition
Yerevan, October 2-4, 2009
The aims of the exhibition are to create a business environment between information and telecommunication (ICT) and high technology (HighTech) best companies’ and business customers. The organizers: Union of Information Technology Enterprises (UITE), Enterprise Incubator Foundation (EIF).
Starting from 2005 DigiTec Expo is held under the high patronage of the Prime-Minister of RA.
The categories of the exhibition are: IT equipments and systems, IT usage in business, education in Ite-governance, computer graphics and multimedia, innovative solutions, labour market, introduction materials, telecommunication, high technologies.
DigiTec accompanied events:
- DigiTec Startup forum. Will be presented new companies and innovative solutions.
- DigiTec technological forum. All-armenian engineering.
- DigiTec e-governance forum. Presentations of e-services by the Government of RA and other state bodies.
- Digilife seminars. Leading local and international companies will present their solutions and last technological news.
Presenters. Local and international companies of information, telecommunication and high technology sectors.
DigiTec visitors. Every year about 8000 to 10000 people visit the exhibition. The research of USA «Nathan Associate» expert showed, that 44% of the visitors of DigiTec 2008 were students, 19% - leaders of other sectors of economy, 17% - state bodies and structures representatives, and 20% - people interested in the sector. The same research showed that 86% is interested in new technologies and its products, 56% - in mobile connection, 39% - in internet connection, 37% - in telecommunication services.
